How to start Multiview
- Play a channel from the IPTV guide.
- Go to the second channel and hold OK on any programme in its row.
- Choose Multiview: watch next to …. Both channels appear side by side.
Controls
- Left / Right choose which one plays sound.
- OK takes the selected channel full screen.
- Up / Down change the channel in the focused picture.
- Back leaves Multiview.
What it needs
- A source that allows two streams at once. Some providers give you a single connection; then the second channel can't open. Channels on the same multiplex often work on a single tuner box.
- A device that can decode both pictures. WatchBridge uses the TV's hardware decoder, and includes its own software decoder for MPEG-2 channels so devices without a second hardware decoder can still show them. Sound for MPEG audio channels is also decoded in software when the device lacks it.
If the second channel doesn't open
- Check how many simultaneous connections your provider allows. One connection means one channel at a time.
- Try two channels from the same provider group or multiplex.
- If your device can't show that format next to the other picture, WatchBridge says so on screen instead of leaving a black cell.
WatchBridge doesn't provide channels. Multiview works with the list you bring; availability of channels and simultaneous streams is up to your provider.
